About
Ondarre Valdebaron wine is made from 100% Tempranillo Blanco grapes.
The vines are grown in a small number of vineyard sites to the north and northeast of Viana, situated on the northern bank of the River Ebro. The vineyards are located on the Valdebarón slopes which range from 520 to 690 metres above sea level.
The grapes were carefully selected and gently pressed to retain the aromas. The clarified must was barrel-fermented in French oak with selected yeasts under temperature controlled conditions.
The wine spent a further four months ageing on its fine lees in 225 litre American and French oak barriques and Acacia casks.
