Tempranillo Blanco

Tempranillo blanco is a white Spanish wine grape variety that is grown in the Rioja region of Spain. It was discovered in 1988, a natural mutation from the red Tempranillo vines in the vineyard.

Currently is is only grown in Spain, and in 2007 was officially added to the list of grape varieties that can be used in the production of Rioja region wines.

Tempranillo Blanco produces well structured, balanced wines with a lengthy finish. It has a good level of acidity with a fruity nose of apples, pears, bananas and citrus, along with a strong floral presence.
