Rum is produced in over 80 countries in the world, making it unique in the world of spirits, and produced using many different fermentation, distillation, blending and aging processes. This variety makes it one of the most widely tasting spirits available.
Clear (white) rum is the most common, usually lowest priced, and most popular in cocktails. Pale (Gold) Rum is usually slightly aged, has more of a 'rum taste' and is also popular in cocktails, neat, and often used in spiced rums.
Dark and black rums are usually the most aged, and Navy rum will usually contain some citrus, typically lemon. These and other Rums are available in our St Helens store.
