Tasting Notes:

Maison M. Chapoutier is one of the most respected producers in the Rhône Valley, internationally known for its commitment to biodynamic and organic viticulture. The estate has played a key role in elevating the reputation of Rhône wines worldwide, particularly through terroir-driven single vineyard and regional expressions.
Winemaking: Grapes are hand-harvested from organically farmed vineyards and fermented using native yeasts. The wine undergoes gentle extraction to preserve finesse and is aged in a combination of concrete tanks and large oak vessels to maintain fruit purity while adding structure and complexity.
Vineyards: Located in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation in the southern Rhône, the vineyards are characterised by galets roulés (large round stones), which absorb heat during the day and release it at night, helping grapes achieve full ripeness. Biodynamic farming practices, including the use of cover crops such as facélie, enhance soil health and biodiversity.
