Calusari Pinot Noir is light ruby in colour, and you can see the delicate nature of the wine as you roll it round the glass. Its aroma is of strawberries and ripe red cherries.
To the taste, the wine is beautifully light with abundant flavours of juicy red Autumn fruits, it's dry, with a refreshingly gentle mouth feel, and just the right level of soft acidity to give a clean elegant finish.

The Calusari label belongs to one of the most popular of Romania's rising wineries on the Cramele Recas Estate, delivering wines that should ticks every box of a real wine lover.
The vines for this wine are 12 years old and sit in the hills of Viile Timisului in Romania. The vineyards are unirrigated and have a variety of soils ranging from limestone to clay.
Calsari Pinot Noir spends just 5-7 days fermenting on the skins, long enough to impart the juicy flavours, but short enough to keep the juice light coloured with low tannin levels.
Vinification takes place in stainless steel and is finished in American Oak casks.
