About Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir is a red grape wine variety thought to have possibly originated in Côte-d'Or within France's Burgundy region. It is now grown in cooler climates throughout the world, and is a popular grape within the UK.

As well as a great varietal wine, it is used along with Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier to make Champagne, and other sparkling red and white wines.

France, the USA and Germany are the largest producers.
