El Esteco is located in the Calchaquí Valleys where, at 1,700 metres altitude, the broad range of temperatures between day and night, provide good conditions for wine-making. Couple that with the poor quality soils and you have the right ingredients for low yielding vines which produce the best quality, most concentrated grapes.
The Cuma Malbec is vinified using traditional methods and is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months before bottling.
