About
The Leyda valley is nestled between the hills of the coastal mountain range, near to the cooling influence of the Pacific Ocean and the Humboldt Current.
Viña Leyda has two different vineyards planted in Leyda valley, both of which are situated at around 180 metres above sea level.
After fermentation, 50% of the wine was racked into French oak barrels for 6 months, where the malolactic fermentation took place.
The total ageing period of the wine was 10 months.
