About
Boekenhoutskloof is one of South Africa’s most highly regarded wineries, based in the Franschhoek Valley. The estate is known for producing expressive, Rhône-style blends and premium single varietal wines with a focus on quality and site expression.
Winemaking: Each varietal is vinified separately before blending. Fermentation takes place in small batches with careful extraction, followed by ageing in French oak barrels to build structure, depth and complexity while preserving fruit purity.
Vineyards: Grapes are sourced from selected vineyard sites across the Western Cape, including Swartland and other premium regions. These diverse terroirs contribute richness, concentration and balance to the final blend.
