Aged in concrete and old oak foudres for 12 months creating a beautifully rich, ripe, and elegant wine

Tasting Notes

Inky aromas of black fruits and balsamic vinegar. In the mouth, this Malbec is edgy and bouncy, with elastic tannins and high acidity. Plum and wild-berry flavors on the long and tight finish.

About

Sebastián Zuccardi made this wine to honour his father José, one of Argentinas recognised wine making experts.

Vineyards: Malbec from Paraje Altamira and Cabernet Sauvignon from Gualtallary in Argentinas Uco Valley in Mendoza.

Winemaking: The wine is made with 95% Malbec and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The buncges are picked and hand selected.

Tanks are filled by gravity, fermented in concrete vats with native yeast.

Maceration for 20 days with daily delestage and piegeage.

The wine is aged in oak foudres before bottling unfiltered.
