Baglio Gibellina is Sicilian based, making wines using traditional grapes from the area, and for their Passimiento they use Nero d'Avola and Frappato grapes, both native to the area.
About
Baglio Gibellina is situated in picturesque Sicily where its vineyards are surrounded by the hills of Salemi and Santa Ninfa. Frappato grapes are harvested as soon as they reach maturation while the Nero d’Avola grapes are left on the vines for a light withering and for natural dehydration to occur. Fermented in steel tanks there is no oak aging involved in these wines.
