San Marzano Anniversario 62 is an intense ruby red colour; wide and complex to the nose, fruity with prune and cherry jam aroma, notes of tobacco and slightly spicy.
A full-bodied wine, soft and rich in fine tannins, with notes of cocoa, coffee and vanilla in the finish.
San Marzano Anniversario is a single varietal Primitivo, from a small vineyard parcel in the heart of the superior Manduria DOC in Italy. The wine is aged for 18 months and the balance achieved from the lightness of the massively fruity Primitivo grape, and the barrel aging is simply exquisite.

Celebrating the year in which Cantine San Marzano was founded (1962), San Marzano Primitivo Anniversario 62 Riserva is aged for 18 months in barriques to express all the strength and richness of the slightly overripe Primitivo grapes.
The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and then aged in French and American oak barrels for 18 months
