Tasting Notes

With a deep colour and remarkable fruit intensity, this is well-made white Burgundy with aromas of muscat, apricot and exotic fruits and a round, medium-bodied palate.

About

From the villages of Viré and Clessé which lie just over 10k north of Mâcon, an area well-known for its more accesible, good-value Burgundies.

After a careful harvest, to maintain the quality of the fruit (and avoid bruising), the grapes are pressed and immediately fermented at controlled, cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then matured and bottled after 8 months.

Goes very well with seafoods, fish and starters and is a lovely aperitif.
