Tasting Notes

On the nose ripe fruits and savoury herbs are followed on the pallet by juicy plums, sweet cherries, and just a hint of  roasted vanilla.  The wine is full, dry with just the right balance of acidity and velvety smoothness to leave you wanting more.

About

Bogle Merlot is simply gorgeous in the glass, from its deep black red colour, its amazingly fruity nose to its perfectly balanced finish.  It really is a sensory overload.

From the Clarksburg region of California this Merlot carries the California Rules Mark for sustainably produced wines.

The wine is finished by aging for 12 months in new American Oak barrels.
