About

Chateau La Croix Ferrandat is owned by the Union de Saint-Emilion, by far the largest producer on the right bank.

With a huge portfolio of producers and growers, they are able to produce wines that really over-deliver for the price.

It's a blend of 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernets Franc & Sauvignon from vineyards just south of the town of Saint Emilion.

It's made without ageing in oak which allows the plummy and rich blackberry flavours stand out.

Slow braised beef dishes, fruity lamb tagines or mature cheeses.
