Velvet Devil Merlot is a soft, juicy, savoury medium-bodied red wine. Blackberry, black cherry, cedar, tobacco and earthy notes on the nose and the palate.

Washington is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States, with warm days, cool nights, killer soil and a 200-day growing season. Unlike other parts of the state, Washington’s winegrowing regions are dry and warm most of the year. The ideal weather, along with well-drained soil, means the grapes can take their time ripening. It’s slow and steady all the way to intense, full flavours.

The wine is made from Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) from vneyards in the Yakima Valley and Wahluke. The juice is fermented in stainless steel and aged in French oak prior to bottling.
