About
Domaine de la Solitude is one of the historic estates of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with origins dating back several centuries. The estate is known for producing traditional, terroir-driven wines that reflect the diversity of the appellation’s soils and Mediterranean climate.
Winemaking: Grapes are hand-harvested and vinified parcel by parcel using traditional fermentation methods. The wine is aged in a combination of concrete vats, stainless steel and large oak foudres to preserve fruit purity while adding structure and complexity.
Vineyards: Vineyards are spread across Châteauneuf-du-Pape, featuring galets roulés, sandy soils and clay-limestone terroirs. The Mediterranean climate with strong sun exposure and Mistral winds promotes full ripening while maintaining balance and freshness.
