About

Now known as Domaine Doudet Naudin, the winery was founded in 1849 and has around 15 hectares under vine. With parcels in Savigny-Les-Beaune, Pernand-Vergelesses, Beaune, Aloxe-Corton, Corton et Corton Charlemagne (a total of 21 in the Cote d'Or), they are serious players in the fine wine market and have achieved hundreds of accolades, awards and medals for their wines.

Still a family business (based in Savigny-Les-Beaune) they have no desire to increase production or turnover and remain meticulously committed to quality.

Our Views

1969 was a superb vintage for Burgundy, though very small due to a cold spring. The wines benefit from having real backbone with outstanding fruit and balanced acidity. This wine has good overall appearance with pleasing colour and levels and shows every indication of being superb.
