Made in Mendoza Malbec is sourced from selected vineyards in Argentina's Mendoza region, including areas around Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley. The region's sunny, dry conditions encourage ripe fruit flavours, while vineyard elevation helps preserve the freshness that gives this wine its lively character.
The grapes are harvested early in the morning and fermented in temperature-controlled tanks. Gentle management of the grape skins during fermentation helps develop colour and flavour without extracting excessively firm tannins.
The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation in tank, helping create its smooth, rounded texture. With no oak ageing, the emphasis remains on fresh plum, forest fruits and the naturally generous character of Malbec.
An easy partner for grilled burgers, steak, barbecued meats and hearty pasta dishes. Its juicy fruit also works well with tomato-based sauces, mildly spiced food and semi-hard cheeses.
