Valbello Pinot Grigio delle Venezie DOC is a classic northern Italian white wine from Veneto, produced in the approachable, fruit-driven style for which the region is well known.
The Delle Venezie DOC covers an important Pinot Grigio-producing area of northeastern Italy, where the grape has become particularly associated with fresh, balanced and versatile white wines.
Rather than offering powerful aromatics or pronounced oak character, this wine concentrates on delicacy, freshness and ease of drinking. Its apple and pear flavours, gentle floral notes and clean finish make it particularly appealing to customers who already know they enjoy traditional Italian Pinot Grigio.
Winemaking
The Pinot Grigio grapes are gently pressed before the juice undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks for approximately 15 to 20 days. The wine remains in stainless steel until bottling, preserving its fresh fruit aromas and clean, unoaked character.
Vineyards
The grapes are grown in Veneto, northeastern Italy, where the temperate climate is influenced by the nearby Adriatic Sea and the protective Alpine mountain range. These conditions support the development of the fresh fruit character and balanced acidity associated with Pinot Grigio from the region.
Food Pairing
