Lunadoro is a respected Tuscan estate based in Montepulciano, dedicated to producing expressive wines that balance tradition with modern precision. The winery focuses on highlighting the character of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano through careful vineyard selection and long ageing.
Winemaking: Grapes are hand-harvested in early October and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for at least 24 months in large French oak barrels, followed by a further period of bottle ageing to refine structure and complexity.
Vineyards: Sourced from hillside vineyards around Montepulciano in Tuscany, where moderate altitude, warm days and cooling influences from nearby valleys allow Sangiovese to ripen slowly, preserving acidity while developing rich aromatic depth.
