Boccantino Organic Negroamaro IGT is a smooth, full-flavoured red that captures the generous character of southern Italy without becoming heavy. Ripe blackberry, black cherry and plum are balanced by gentle spice, soft tannins and the subtle savoury character that makes Negroamaro such a useful food wine.
It is an excellent choice if you enjoy rich Puglian reds but want something a little more structured and savoury than a typical Primitivo. The organically grown grapes are an additional benefit, but the strongest reason to choose this bottle is its combination of ripe fruit, balance and easy drinkability.

If you prefer lighter-bodied reds with high acidity and delicate fruit, another style is likely to suit you better.
Boccantino is made from organically grown Negroamaro from Salento, with the grapes trained using the Guyot system and harvested by hand.
After harvest, the fruit is destemmed and carefully selected before fermentation in stainless-steel tanks for around 20 days at controlled temperatures between 24–28°C. This approach helps preserve the wine's ripe blackberry and plum character while producing the smooth tannins and rounded texture that define the finished wine.
The result is a generous but balanced expression of Negroamaro, with ripe dark fruit at the centre and enough savoury character to give it personality.
Boccantino Negroamaro works particularly well with grilled steak, roast lamb, slow-cooked beef, tomato-based pasta, pizza and mature or spicy cheeses.
