The Isle of Raasay Distillery sits on the small Hebridean island of Raasay, between the Isle of Skye and the Scottish mainland. Whisky production began there in 2017, with the distillery setting out to create a distinctive island single malt combining fruit, complexity and carefully controlled peat smoke.
Making: Isle of Raasay Single Malt combines peated and unpeated spirit matured in a carefully selected range of casks. This approach builds layers of fruit, spice and oak around the whisky's restrained smoky character, producing the distinctive house style showcased in this miniature.
Serving suggestion: Enjoy neat to explore its balance of fruit, spice and gentle smoke, adding a few drops of water if desired to open up the aromas and softer fruit flavours.
