The wine is made from the co-fermenting of Grenache Noir & Macabeu grapes grown in the south and centre of the Agly Valley in Southern France producing a beautifully light red wine with the terroir enhancing the wines' fresh, mineral character.

Vineyards: This wine is crafted from grapes grown in the south and centre of the Agly Valley, with the central vineyards offering a stunning view of the historic Cathar castle, Quéribus. The vines thrive in black schist soils, which retain heat and provide excellent drainage, enhancing the wines' fresh, mineral character. Grapes are hand-harvested to ensure optimal ripeness and gentle handling. The Mediterranean climate, with low rainfall and warm, dry conditions, contributes to low yields and vibrant, balanced fruit. The valley’s geology and climate encourage soft tannins, bright acidity, and delicate complexity, perfect for this light red wine.
Winemaking: A light red made from the co-fermenting of Grenache Noir & Macabeu. The grapes were destemmed and left to macerate for 36 hours before the juice was pressed off to finish fermentation. The result is an absolutely epic light red wine, bursting with fresh strawberry and ripe cherry flavours. Pop it into your cryo-chamber for a few quick minutes and this being from beyond is ready to be enjoyed.
