Vinculum Malbec is inky violet in colour. On the nose it is expressive, flowery and fresh, with cherries and vanilla hints. On the palate the wine is bold, richly fruity and noticeably spicy. Within its rich and creamy texture is plenty of oak, with leather, chocolate and purple berries. The finish is long, silky smooth and utterly opulant.
This wine has subtle tannins, is elegant, delicate any yet very complex.
Viña Cobos' elegant and balanced wines are a result of meticulous vineyard farming and utmost respect for terroir. Founded by the wine legend Paul Hobbs, who has explored the different terroirs across Mendoza to find the most distinguished regions in Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco to produce exceptional wines of which Vinculum Malbec is a prime example.
