San Polino Rosso is a bright garnet to violet colour, with lively reflections. It has an opulent nose of cherry, blackcurrant, and floral rose with a deeper hint of violet and earth. This is a fragrant, intense wine, full, with smooth, finely-balanced tannins and a persistent, aromatic finish.
The wine is aged in oak for 6 months, long enough to add depth, but short enough to keep the lively, fruity tones of this Sangiovese which properly captures the essence of Tuscany.
