About
Viña Errazuriz is one of Chile’s most respected wineries, founded in 1870 in the Aconcagua Valley. The estate is internationally recognised for producing high-quality wines that express Chile’s diverse terroirs, from coastal vineyards to high-altitude mountain sites.
Winemaking: Grapes are hand-harvested from high-altitude vineyard blocks in Aconcagua Alto. After careful selection and fermentation in stainless steel, the wine is aged for approximately 14 months in French oak barrels (including a proportion of new oak), where it undergoes malolactic fermentation and gains structure, spice and complexity.
Vineyards: The grapes come from the Max vineyard blocks in the Aconcagua Alto region, situated at high elevation with alluvial, well-draining soils. These conditions help control vine vigour and produce small, concentrated berries, resulting in wines with intensity, balance and freshness.
