Primera Luz Merlot is a juicy and red-fruits fragrant wine. Its palate is of ripe black blackberry fruits with raspberry and a touch of strawberry. Gentle acidy, medium bodied and a clean finish.
This is a Chilean Merlot, done the way you'd expect. It's very moreish, a good crowd pleaser and an overall great value wine.
This Merlot would be perfect with lamb chops with coarse-grain mustard and red-tomato chutney, grilled lamb kebabs with cumin and cinnamon, or a duck salad.
