Right now, Swartland is the most exciting wine region in South Africa with a new wave of winemakers making ground-breaking wines from Rhône varietals and it is part of a revolution that has got everybody talking.

80% of the vineyards are small bush vines and the quality of fruit is exceptional.

The fruit was harvested from a single vineyard at optimal phenolic ripeness.

20% was barrel-fermented in older oak and left on the lees for six months where it matured in used 225 litre French oak barrels, before being filtered and bottled
