This organic Malbec from Manos Negras shows dark berry fruit flavours with a touch of black pepper. The naturally retained acidity gives it a well balanced finish. Medium to full bodied with a pleasant depth.

About

Triuno Organic Malbec is made from grapes grown at 2,500ft altitude in the Maipu county of Chile. They are from the Barrancas district of the Primera Zona (Chiles premier wine growing area).

The grapes are destemming followed by cold maceration for 3 days after which the juice undergoes a wild yeast fermentation.

Total fermentation takes 13 days after which the wine is aged for 6 months in new French Oak.

Tomato pasta dishes, turkey, roast pork and any cuts of lean red meat.
