Tasting Notes

This chardonnay shows light tropical fruits, white stone fruit flavours and a gentle minerality. The growing conditions lead to a natural acidity which imparts a dry, clean, fresh and crisp finish.

About

The grapes for Manos Negras Chardonnay are sourced from high altitude vineyards, 4,000ft above sea level, in the Los Arboles district of the Uco Valley, Mendoza. The areas sub soil is made up of round rocks with a high content of calcium carbonate which delivers a stony minerality to the fruit.

The fruit is picked and pressed in clusters and ferments for 11 days. It is not aged in oak.
