An elegant full-bodied red wine from the southern Rhône, offering aromas of eucalyptus and lots of succulent black fruits, cherries and strawberries in the mouth with a juicy, moreish finish.
About
Maison Sinnae is perfectly located in the flat lands to the west of the Rhône river just south of Bagnols sur Ceze and north of Avignon. The hot climate here also suffers harsh northern winds from the Mistral, resulting in hardy vines which produce the best fruit.
Made mostly with Grenache, the blend also includes Carignan, Syrah and Mourvedre - a blend also favoured in Châteauneuf du Pape, which is a mere 10 minutes away. The wine is made traditionally with around 13 days fermentation at controlled temperatures.
