Loma Negra produce out of Chilies Central Valley, and this is a fine example of a young, single varietal Merlot showing plenty of red fruits, a long finish and perfect balance

Thoroughly well balanced between the sweetness, the acidity and the tannins, this is what we've come to expect from Chile's wines and this is fantastic quality at the price

Tasting Notes

Loma Negra Merlot is a deep cherry red colour with violet tones. On the nose it shows high intensity notes of red fruits such as cherry and plums backed by a little cinnamon, vanilla and hazelnut.

In the mouth it is soft, medium-bodied, with a lovely balance of tannins and acidity.

The finish is fresh, fruity and persistent.
