About

Made in vineyards surrounding the town of Montepulciano in Italy, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano was awarded its own DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita) status in 1980, making it a wine to compare with Brunello or Barolo. The wine must be aged for at least two years, of which one must be in oak barrel, or three years to be a Riserva. It has been documented as a wine type as far back as 1685.

Our Views

These bottles are in great condtion and at a fraction of the price of a Brunello from the same vintage are great value too.
