Tasting Notes

Intense ruby red turning to garnet with ageing. Bouquet is spicy with hints of cherry, black cherry and plum compote.

The palate is medium-bodied, red and purple fruits, and smooth and and velvety with a persistent finish displaying with soft tannins.

About

The grapes are handpicked, selecting only ripest and healthiest. The thinnest bunches are chosen, with the berries not too close one to another, so that the air can circulate.

The grapes undergo the Appassimento process before aging. 40% of the wine is aged in Oak, the rest in stainless steel.
