Tasting Notes

Vina Real Rioja has deliciously rich aromas of fruit cake and a little spice. The palete is plush with ripe fruits with nicely balanced oak. It feels silky smooth with gently lasting tannins to balance the richness of the fruit.

Viña Real is made from grapes grown in Rioja Alavesa where the people of the villages are dedicated almost totally to grape growing

The grapes which make up Viña Real Crianza are sourced from CVNE's own vineyards in Laguardia and from trusted providers in Rioja Alavesa who have supplied them for many years.

Following fermentation, the wine is transferred to French and American oak barrels where it aged for 13 to 14 months.
