Albarino is a fragrant white wine grape, most commonly thought of as a traditional Spanish grape, but in this case excelling in the climate of Gisborne, New Zealand.
Leftfield Albarino is blended with 15% of the liquid naturally fermented in seasoned French Oak Puncheons giving a luscious complexity to the wine. The remainder of the blend is fermented with yeast selected to emphasise and enhance the fragrance and texture of the grape.
