The grapes for this wine are grown in 15-20 year old vineyards in the production zones of Ortona, San Salvo and Pollutri.
The winemakers deliver a freshness and directness of fruit that sets them apart from other wines from this area. most of which either buy in bulk or use a co-operative system, neither of which work as well as this wineries team.
The grapes are all handpicked, with fermentation taking place over 15 days. Malolactic fermentation took place in 80% stainless steel tanks and 20% oak barrels, which softened the acidity and added complexity to the final wine.
