Tasting Notes
This Merlot is intense ruby red in colour with attractive aromas of ripe red berry fruit which follow through on to the palate. This wine is velvety, round and full-bodied.
About
The grapes are grown primarily on the hills south of Vicenza, the Colli Berici, where the hillside sites ensure lower yields and better ripeness of the grapes.
After malolactic fermentation took place, 40% of the wine was aged in oak barrels and the remaining in stainless steel tanks for four to five months prior to bottling.
