We sometimes describe the best wines as having more ‘megapixels’ than other wines and Chateau Sainte Marguerite certainly ticks that box. It is a fine wine with flavours of rose hips, redcurrants and other red berries and a long succulent finish.

Provence is undoubtably the best place in the world for Rosé wines. It’s hot, dry summers, limestone soils and overall ‘terroir’ provide the ideal conditions to produce world-class wines which are on a par with great Burgundies and other fine wines.
Classified as a Côtes de Provence, Chateau Sainte Marguerite is made with a blend of Grenache, Mourvedre and Cinsault in almost equal quantities. Carefully selected grapes are cooled as soon as they arrive at the winery to ensure they are firm before being gently pressed and left for a short period on their skins, to achieve the classic pale salmon colour. This is a superb wine on its own and can be served chilled as an aperitif. Try it too with charcuterie, shellfish, avocado, and all sorts of salads or simply as an indulgence with a pizza or your favourite lasagna.
