Raventós Codorníu is a Spanish family with a tradition of working in the winemaking industry since 1551. Bodega Septima was founded in 1999 when the family chose Agrelo in Mendoza, Argentina, for its unbeatable characteristics allowing wines of exceptional quality to be produced.
Septima wines are born, made and evolve in the mountains; in desert valleys located at the heart of The Andes, with their austere weather, hilly topography, poor soil, and indomitable natural environment.
The majority of their vines are located in a valley located between 800 and 1,050m altitude with excellent vine growing conditions. The rest, from Valle de Uco, show more freshness and acidity.
