Montes began as a dream in 1987 to produce Chilean wines of a far greater quality than existed at the time. The dream belonged to its first two founders, Aurelio Montes and Douglas Murray, who a year later were joined by Alfredo Vidaurre and Pedro Grand where the dream became a vision and finally a reality with the Montes Classic and Montes Alpha ranges.
Montes vineyards are based in 5 areas across Chile, each in a different set of conditions from hill side, valley or costal, allowing them to produce a wide range of grape in optimal conditions. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
