Iona is a South African winery sitting at 420m altitude overlooking the Elgin Valley on the site of an old run-down Apple Farm boasting the 'coolest' vineyard climate in the country.
It was founded in 1997 by Andrew Gunn, whose family roots trace back to Scotland - the Name Iona is taken from the Island off the west coast of Scotland.
