Bourboulenc Wine

Bourboulenc is a popular white wine grape varietal primarily grown in southern France. It is a high-yielding grape, which ripens late and requires a lot of warmth and sun to mature.

The grape is grown in the Southern Rhône where it is used as a blending grape, typically for Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc. It is also widely grown in the Languedoc region and is often used as a single grape wine.

Bourboulenc adds strong citrus, floral and herbal characteristics to the wine along with freshness, due to its high acid and low alcohol traits.
