Feteasca Alba is a whte grape variety originating in Romania, but grown now in Mioldova and Hungary.
It creates a dry, elegant wine which shows refreshing acidity, is well balanced and carries stone fruit flavours, predominatly peach, with a pineapple and lemon nose.
Whilst it is reasonably common as a single variety wine, it is most commonly blended with a little Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay.
