Cats in space...! Don't doubt that Felicette Grenache Blanc is anything other than a great wine. Made from the Grenache grape, it has fresh aromas of peach and citrus fruits. The peach flavours carry through on the palate with hints of exotic fruits and a well-balanced minerality.
Felicette wines are from the Pays d'Oc region of France, and this wine has a delicious fruity taste which makes it fabulous on it own, though there's a plethora of perfect food matches too.

Felicette is an unoaked Grenache Blanc from the Pays d’Oc in Southern France, and is named after the first cat to venture into space and survive the journey, though the honour was never meant to be hers. Felix, the cat who was meant to go on the mission, could not be found when it was time to go, so Felicette took his place. The label has a picture of Felicette and Felix gazing at the moon, though Felix is definitely looking more wistful…

The absence of oak gives this Grenache Blanc a freshness that makes it ideal with shellfish and seafood, though also good with salads and white meats such as chicken in a creamy sauce.
