Glenmorangie X is a Highland single malt created specifically with mixing in mind, bringing Glenmorangie's elegant house style into a more playful, cocktail-friendly whisky. Soft and approachable, it offers juicy pear and orange alongside vanilla, crème brûlée and hints of chocolate, with a smooth texture that remains expressive when served with a mixer.
Developed with input from leading bartenders, X by Glenmorangie is deliberately versatile rather than a conventional sipping malt. Tasting Notes:
Nose: Lively and inviting with ripe pear, orange, vanilla and a touch of honeysuckle.
Palate: Smooth and creamy with juicy orange and pear, vanilla sweetness, crème brûlée and touches of chocolate and gentle spice.
Finish: Smooth and gently sweet with lingering vanilla, citrus fruit and a subtle chocolate note.

Glenmorangie has produced single malt whisky in the Scottish Highlands since 1843 and is renowned for its exceptionally tall copper stills and elegant, fruit-driven spirit. X by Glenmorangie takes that familiar distillery character in a deliberately contemporary direction.
Making: X by Glenmorangie was developed in collaboration with bartenders to create a single malt whose flavours work particularly well when mixed. Its sweeter, fruitier profile allows the whisky's character to remain evident alongside tonic, soda and other cocktail ingredients.
Serving suggestion: Pour over plenty of ice and top with tonic water or soda for a simple long drink, or use as the whisky base for contemporary cocktails. It can, of course, also be enjoyed neat or over ice.
