Casali del Barone Barbaresco is produced in Piedmont, northern Italy, one of the country’s most prestigious wine regions. The Barbaresco appellation is renowned for producing elegant, terroir-driven wines from the Nebbiolo grape.
Winemaking: Nebbiolo grapes are carefully harvested and fermented under controlled temperatures. The wine is then aged to soften tannins and develop complexity, often with a period in oak to enhance structure and depth.
Vineyards: The vineyards are located on hillside sites in Barbaresco, where calcareous clay soils and a temperate climate allow Nebbiolo to ripen slowly, developing aromatic complexity and refined tannins.
