Morvern Absinthe is crafted in the traditional style of the historic Swiss-inspired absinthe category, focusing on bold botanicals and classic production methods that highlight its signature intensity.
The spirit is created by infusing and distilling a blend of herbs including anise, fennel and wormwood, producing its distinctive flavour and natural green hue. When water is added, it develops the characteristic louche effect, turning cloudy and releasing further aromatic complexity.
Serving suggestion: Traditionally served by slowly adding iced water over a sugar cube placed on a slotted spoon, allowing the absinthe to louche. It can also be used sparingly in cocktails such as a Sazerac rinse or to add depth to citrus-forward serves.
