Casali del Barone is a modern Piedmont winery created to showcase the classic styles of the Langhe and Monferrato regions. The range is produced under the guidance of experienced winemaker Daniele Ress, focusing on balance, fruit purity and regional expression.
Winemaking:Hand-harvested grapes are carefully selected before undergoing temperature-controlled fermentation. This is followed by around 10 days of skin maceration with regular pumping over to extract colour, flavour and structure. The wine is then aged for approximately 3 months in large oak barrels to soften tannins and add complexity. ([turn0search0])
Vineyards:Sourced from the Piedmont region in northern Italy, where Barbera thrives in the Langhe and Monferrato hills. The climate allows grapes to retain bright acidity while developing rich, ripe fruit character.
